Traditional window cleaning
Traditional window cleaning
Traditional window cleaning has involved the use of a window cleaning squeegee.
Soapy water is applied to the glass using a window cleaning applicator.
The soapy water is then removed from the glass using the squeegee.
To remove the soapy water without leaving streaks takes some time to practice.
Straight pulls from one side of the glass to the other, is the way to start.
But with practice, using a swirl, it is possible to clean the window in one pass.
To clean large windows, you need to protect the floor with a towel and then apply plenty of soapy water, so the window does not dry out as you are trying to squeegee the window.
This is where you will find the swirl technique enables you to clean quickly enough to produce excellent results.
