Block paving re-sanding
Block paving re-sanding
Re-sanding of drives.
When cleaning block paving, we normally use our Whirlaway attachment to prevent over-spray and tramlines and the removal of too much sand from between the blocks.
There can be times when these drives and paths may need to be re-sanded.
This needs to be done on a dry day, so the sand can penetrate down to the bottom of the joints.
This means any re-sanding will need to be scheduled for later and is dependent on the weather forecast.
Re-sanding of paths.
Once a path has been cleaned using pressure washing methods, the joints may well need to be re-sanded.
This is a good time to treat this area for weeds, by spraying the joints before they are re-sanded.
The re-sanding takes place after the path has fully dried out and on a dry day, so this is dependent on the weather and may need to be re-scheduled.
We gently brush the kiln dried sand between the joints to complete the job.
